I know this was posted in 2013 but I was hoping to see if you'd share the pattern? The site no longer has it. Thanks! Amy

Hi Amy, the site actually does still have the pattern. If you click the little 'download' button with a heart on it right below the page title, you'll be taken to the pattern. Happy knitting! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

I'm concerned about giving this to the new mother down the street because there might be a strangling issue. Please tell me I'm being overly sensitive. I would have used this on my children and would love to make something like this for my neighbor, but don't want her to think I'm insensitive to the dangers. What do y'all think?

I don't see why this would be any more dangerous than having the strings tied around the baby's neck and perhaps getting knotted. In fact, I think this would be much safer.

Hi all, You can access this free pattern by clicking on 'Click here for knitting pattern.' This will take you to the designer's site where it is available. Once there, click on the heart that says 'Download'. Please note that this is a PDF download so you will need Adobe Reader in order to open it. You can get this program for free at http://get.adobe.com/reader/ Hope this helps! Happy knitting. -- editors of AllFreeKnitting

I think that is someone says that a pattern is free then the person should put the pattern up instead just pictures.

I'm having trouble with this simple patter at the end with the decrease rows. It only says to K2 together once per row and yet it shows 2 stitches decreased. Is there a typo or am I slow? Thanks.

Hi howslady612! The download pattern opens in a new window. You have to unblock pop-ups in your browser for the pattern to open. I hope that helps!
