Brownstone Scarf
Knitting for men can be challenging at times. The important part is to remember to keep it simple. The Brownstone Scarf combines a clean, classic design with a basic neutral color. This attractive knit scarf pattern features the timeless flame stitch, which looks great with solid color yarns. Subtle scalloped edging makes the Brownstone Scarf a handsome cold weather essential.

I have found a few errors with this pattern. Row 18 of the chart is wrong. The Central Double Increase should be one stitch to the right. There should also be 2 "no stitches" indicated at the left side of the repeat section. Also, starting with the 22nd row of the written directions, the last two stitches should be P1, K1 for all even rows 22 - 32.

I was able to find a tutorial for the technique on YouTube, created by Knit Purl Hunter: www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1qYe81lAT8 If you type "Central Double Increase" into the search bar of Google, it's the first thing that comes up. Editors of AllFreeKnitting
