    How to Knit Baby Booties Piece A (Boot Back)

    1. CO 30 sts

    2. Row 1: Sl 1, k across.

    3. Row 2: Sl 1, ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1.

    4. Rpt rows 1-2 until there are 16 sts left on your needles.

    5. Row 3: Rpt row 1.

    6. Rpt row 3 fifteen times total. BO all sts.

    How to Knit Baby Booties Piece B (Boot Front and Bottom Rectangle)

    1. CO 6 sts.

    2. Row 1: Sl 1, k across.

    3. Rpt row 1 fifty-six times total. BO all sts.

    4. Sew Back (A) to Rectangle (B) to form a bootie shape. Weave in all ends.

    5. Repeat above steps to knit second bootie.

    These are so cute and easy, too! It would be fun to make several in a smaller size and tie them into a sort of bouquet for a baby shower or just a gift. It would be cute, too, to use them to decorate a wrapped gift for a baby. I would just sew them together rather than using a crochet hook, though it's faster for me.
