I was going to ask you if you had converted this pattern to knit in the round. Have finished about 2 dozen hats in various patterns for our local hospital NICU and thought this pattern would be faster than what I have been doing. Before I asked that question, I saw a comment from "bobbrenda xxxxxxx" and she had already converted it. So...when I finish the hat I am working on, I will make yours! Thanks. Will send a picture later! Peggy

My twin grandsons were born premature at 25 weeks, one was 1lb 10oz, the other was 1lb 3oz. They have been in the NICU since they were born September 23, 2017. I made many of these hats for the NICU!

Cool weather is fast approaching. If you have a little one that will be a newborn in the next few months, this is an ideal project to go ahead and crank out a few. Those little heads need to stay warm and items like these always seem to get misplaced. It is always nice to have a few extras.

I love this pattern as i am looking to make some for our hospital. I talked to a friend and she says that in August they don't have many hats to choose from so i will quickly make some of these and donate them .

For anyone looking for a simple charity project, this Pom Pom Newborn Hat is exactly what you need. For those of us with some knitting skills, you will be able to whip these adorable newborn hats up in a jiffy. Those of us that may be new to the craft may take a little longer to complete, but can make these also.

I love these little hats, they are quick and simple to whip up. I gave this pattern to my granny, she now makes these for the premature baby unit as well, she is house bound so it helps bring her day in a little and she loves making them as well. It is a great starter hat as well.

I just love the idea of people passing around a pattern to knit a hat. Perfect gift for a newborn. Love the pom poms at the top. Thank you.

These are just flippin' adorable! I love a good seamed pattern (I am absolutely horrible at knitting in the round, so this one was quite a treat to find.) I can't wait to knit up a ton of these to give out to my friends at their baby showers! I really love how the pattern has the ribbed-style edging to that it will have some stretch and give when the baby is wearing it. Fantastically cute pattern! I highly recommend.

This pattern is very easy ! I added 1 stitch to the cast on so that i can knit it in the round and not have the seam to sew up! I am aiming to knit at least one a day for CHEO ! (Our local children's hospital)
