I have been making kimonos for the little ones and they are going over well. Easy to put on and just adds an additional layer. Easy to make as well. I like the simpleness of this pattern. I also like the blanket. An easy to follow pattern and it keeps it from looking ordinary. A solid color seems to work best although a variegated yarn make work for the kimono as well. Thank you.

This is a simple and cute pattern for baby. The kimono style top is easier to get on the little one, no buttons to fuss with. This set in the photo was made with merino wool, but I would not recommend wool because many babies have sensitive skin which even a very soft wool could irritate.
