Step up your knitting game with these 11 knitting patterns. Inside The Art of Seamless Knitting by Simona Merchant-Dest and Faina Goberstein, you will learn how to convert flat knitting patterns to circular techniques.
Choose from a variety of timeless designs for all ages including cardigans, cowls, tunics, tops, and more. A few of my personal favorites include the Lace Stockings (pg. 68), Cabled Cardigan (pg. 91), Textured Jacket (pg. 129), and Brioche Hat and Fingerless Gloves (pg. 162).
The book is divided into 5 chapters: All About Seamless Knitting, Make It Fit!, Lace Patterns, Cable Patterns, and Textured Stitch Patterns. Each chapter starts with basic instructions for each technique, and then corresponding patterns follow each lesson. The instructions are all very detailed and include lots of charts, which is super helpful when you're learning a new technique. Sometimes books have corresponding video tutorials available on their website, which would be a nice addition to this book, but it's still very thorough none-the-less.
the collection of knitting patterns to choose from is very sophisticated and will definitely stand the test of time. The best thing about these knitting patterns is that they knit up surprisingly quickly and require no sewing! This is definitely a great book to have on-hand if you;re an avid knitter.
