Square Bear Knitting Pattern
"There are a lot of cute plush animal patterns out there, but most of them are crochet. The knitting ones I could find were pretty complicated. I created this This Square Bear Knitting Pattern with beginners in mind. The entire bear is knit flat, in pieces and then sewn together. It’s knit in Garter Stitch and there’s no increasing/decreasing. If you can knit a square, you can make this bear! This Bear is knit using medium weight yarn and single point needles."
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

That is a very square bear, but isnt it hip to be square according to Huey Lewis? LOL He may be square, but he is still a cutie. There are not many knitted amigurumi projects as I think all I have ever seen have been crocheted. I would think this would still be classified as amigurumi even though it is knitted?

I love this so much! The square shape is charming, and I love that it's easy. Can't wait to make it!

I like that! " if you can knit a square, you can knit thus bear", thank you so much for posting this cutie pie. I have four grand kids that would love to have one. For the girl, a pink bow will be added in the ear area and for boys different colored collars so no fighting or ownership rights!
