Oh my goodness these are adorable! I think that it would be nice to let the special little girl in your life pick out her own custom colours for her dolls' dresses. Maybe you could even try to match the colours of the dress to an outfit that the child already has? These would make great presents. I think that I will be making up a few to donate to my local charity toy drive as well this Christmas. So adorable!

My daughter has a number of DesignaFriend dolls from Argos (UK based) and some of the outfits for them are so expensive, I decided to have a go at using up some wool that I purchased but had never used to see if the pattern would fit. It is very easy to follow providing you are used to either knitting on DPN's or a cicular needle and didn't take me as long as I expected. My daughter really likes it and it is much cheaper than buying specific outfits. I have bought some wool from the shop so will make a few more.

great to find patterns for dolls' clothes with birthdays and Christmas approaching especially patterns that are appealing and create realistic looking clothes instead of something thrown together -- Santa thanks you

I used to love American Girl dolls. I had so many different outfits for my doll, so seeing these patterns is like a trip down memory lane.
