This is a cute hat but this is not a "beginner" pattern. The only instructions are "Cast on 120 stitches. Knit according to the chart." Following a chart is not for beginners, so if you are new to knitting this is not the pattern for you! The hat is made with super fine yarn and small needles so even experienced knitters will need some patience to work it up.
