I want to make this. I'm attempting to understand the yarn needed. I see only 3 colors in the afghan, but the instructions seem to implay that 4 colors are needed (Super Value, Contrast A, Contrast B, Contrast C. Am I reading it correctly? Super Value (197 g/7. oz389 m/426 yds) Contrast A (White) (400 g/14 oz 709 m/776 yds) - 2 balls Contrast B (Red) (200 g/7 oz 355 m/388 yds) - 1 ball Contrast C (Green) (270 g/9.5 oz 480 m/524 yds - 2 balls

Hi Cmedillon 9631843, only three colors are used for this afghan. The Bernat Super Value yarn in red, white, and green. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

This is a lovely holiday afghan pattern. I'm not sure I would call it easy, though. You need to know how to increase, decrease, and although the stitches are not complex, the pattern is, and you need to be able to read it and follow it exactly. I've pinned this to make in the future.
