Thrifty Button Trees
Nothing beats thrifty knitting projects, especially when you're able to find some great ones to use for decorating during the holiday season. Aside from being trendy and cute, these Thrifty Button Trees are a great way to use up some of that holiday yarn that's still in your stash from last year. Plus this project is so easy, it would be a great way to involve the entire family. These wacky trees are reminiscent of Dr. Seuss's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".

YES! I will absolutly knit these adorable trees! Infact I plan on knitting a forest full! I think I'll make them in different colors (a good way to use up my stash) & making the dowels different heights. It seems like a good little project to do when I need a break from my more complicated knitting

These are nice but I would take a different approach and make them out of Christmas fabric and bit of stuffing. It would be faster and easier for me.

Cute, a bit avant garde and this would be fun to make. I can especially see it on a reception desk in an office.
