Building Bridges Cowl
The Building Bridges Cowl is a free knitting pattern ideal for warmer weather. The good news is this knit scarf is incredibly versatile, so you can even wrap it around your neck twice when the temperature starts to drop. Or if you're stuck in an overly air conditioned office, simply throw on this cowl and you're good to go. It doesn't matter the climate - this easy knit cowl looks good from any angle. The subdued colors are pleasing to the eye and the interesting pattern was inspired by a bridge in Zurich, Switzerland, so this scarf gets extra points for creativity.

This is really unique and I really like those raised stitches. I've never made a pattern with that stitch before. I look forward to trying this for myself after I get my Christmas knits finished. Another of my favorite patterns from ballstothewalls is the Wickerwork Hat. It's unique also!

another striking scarf with the potential to look dramatic with jeans and a sweater or jacket or with skirt and sweater -- knitting directions are clear with no diagrams or charts to annoy me - I love it and love the pattern in the finished cowl too
