This scrap-tastic knit cowl pattern is a great way to get a head start on spring cleaning. The Garter Scrap Cowl is a gorgeous myriad of whatever yarn scraps you have lying around. On top of that, it's a wonderful garter stitch exercise for beginning knitters. Our favorite part about the Garter Scrap Cowl is the fact that it will look different every time you make it. I was surprised to see the blogger knitted this for a man -nice that it's a unisex pattern. I like that, because it's simple garter stitch, you can customize the length of the cowl. I prefer mine less chunky.
