Step out of the house in cowl style! For an ultra modern look, use this free knitting pattern. Kill two birds with one stone- look great and stay warm! The best part about this easy knitting pattern is that it's so customizable. You can take any bulky yarn you want, or dig through your scrap yarn to put it together for an eclectic look. Because the pattern is so basic, you can make it your own in whichever way you please. Don't go out and buy a cowl that everyone and their mothers are going to have. This cowl pattern has a lot of appeal. It is knitted with bulky yarn held three strands together on big needles, so not only will it work up quickly but it will be very dense and soft. You can either make it a cowl or an infinity scarf, and the pattern itself is very simple but attractive.

Another of those easy cowls that looks anything but - have decided that I shall have to devote a month to knitting - forget about writing and jewellery design and just knit if I want to come even close to accomplishing my to knit list - ha! even half of my list would require round the clock knitting
