I love the open, lacy look of this scarf, and even better, that you can make it with regular worsted yarn or a heavy DK, and not have to buy or use a fancy (read expensive) yarn to get the same look. The neutral color is great but I could also see it working in whatever I have on hand. Pinned!

Infinity scarves and cowls are fun to wear and can dress up any outfit, but if one buys one from a store, it means one is going to be just the same as everyone else the handknit ones can be truly unique a change in colour or yarn and one stands out. With this pattern, the designer actually suggests alternative yarns for those who cannot obtain the suggested yarn - and the pattern itself is beautiful --
