    Materials:

    • Patons® Classic Wool Bulky™ (3.5 oz/100 g; 78 yds/71 m) Aran (89008) - 3 balls
    • Size U.S. 11 (8 mm) circular knitting needle 16" [40 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge
    • Stitch marker

    GAUGE: 12 sts and 16 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

    Measurements: Approx 12" [30.5 cm] high x 28" [71 cm] around.

    K = Knit
    K2tog = Knit next 2 stitches together
    P = Purl
    Pat = Pattern
    P2tog = Purl next 2 stitches together

    Yf = Bring yarn to front of work
    Yo = Yarn over


    Instructions:
    Cast on 84 sts loosely. Join in rnd, being careful not to twist work. Place marker at beg of rnd.

    2nd rnd: *K1. yo. K2tog. K1. P1. K1. Rep from * around.
    3rd rnd: *K2tog. K1. P1. K2. yo. Rep from * around.
    4th rnd: *K1. P1. K2. yo. K2tog. Rep from * around.
    5th rnd: *P1. K2. yo. K2tog. K1. Rep from * around.

    Rep 1st to 5th rnds for pat until work from beg measures 12" [30.5 cm].
    Cast off.
