This is a very basic dish cloth or wash cloth pattern, easy to do and quick to make. Although it looks good in the solid colors, I think it might be nice in some of the self patterning cotton yarns that are available. Or else to give it some interest you could knit it in stripes of complementary or contrasting colors.
