Purple Ombre Infinity Scarf
This Purple Ombre Infinity Scarf is absolutely stunning. The lace yarn with its gentle purple fade makes this infinity scarf knitting pattern look soft and delicate. The open weave of the lace pattern is lovely as well. This free knitting pattern is knit in the round with 360 stitches, so it's a bit of a marathon. But the stitch pattern is easy, so it's worth the effort. This pattern makes a shorter scarf, so you can wear it as a knit infinity scarf or as a cowl, depending on how you drape it.

I think this pattern would be perfect for the new trend in ombre yarns. The pattern is easily memorized, so that design works up quickly.

With such a simple pattern and 72" long as written, this could be worn as an infinity scarf but also doubled as a cowl. I think it would be beautiful in any ombre yarn, or in any of the new gradient kits. It's only 7" wide as written, so I wonder if anyone has used more yarn and made it wider? It looks as though it would be great TV knitting, or knitting as a passenger in a car. A simple pattern, over and over.
