"This piece was designed purely for comfort knitting! This warm shawl is made entirely in garter stitch with a few slipped stitches in the mosaic sections. There are no purl stitches and you need to knit only one colour at a time during the mosaic patterns - this makes it a very relaxing knit! The pattern changes provide visual interest, and the asymmetric triangle shape is easy to wear. In addition, you can simply continue (or stop) knitting depending on when you run out of yarn! Size 74” at top edge, 52” and 46” at other edges, 34” width at centre Yarn Vardhman Millenium, DK weight acrylic, 165 yards/151 meters/50 gram skein; colours LC (tan) (189): 3 skeins; CC1 (dark green) (120) & CC2 (brown) (10): one skein each. Actual yarn usage for shawl in photos: LC: 150 grams; CC1: 37 grams & CC2: 50 grams Any DK weight yarn with similar yardage may be substituted.
