I followed the posted link and it worked just fine. Now I can make these for my grand daughter. She has very long hair and likes to pull it back away from her face. I as thinking of embtoideqqqring on them. Maybe her name or the days of the week. I think she will really like them. Thank you I for sharing this.

Love the knit barrette. Got it knitted and I can not find the barrettes to put it on. Could you please tell me where you got yours. Thanks

The directions state that the plastic barette was purchased ( see below) Purchased plastic clip barrette by HairWorks, #TS4560 However, you could look at a local department store ( such as Kmart or Walmart ) and they probably have products made by Goody! or other companies. Try a metal barette.
