Throw is worked back and forth in rows. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches.
Instructions
With A, cast on 195 sts.
Row 1 And All Right Side Rows: *K2tog, k3, [kfb] twice, k4, ssk; repeat from * across.
Row 2 And All Wrong Side Rows: Knit.
Repeat Rows 1-2 until Throw measures 7" [18 cm] from beginning, ending with a wrong side row.
Change to B and work for 5" [12.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to C and work for 3" [7.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to B and work for 5" [12.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to C and work for 3" [7.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to A and work for 9" [23 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to C and work for 3" [7.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to B work for 5" [12.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to C work for 3" [7.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to B work for 5" [12.5 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Change to A work for 7" [18 cm], ending with a wrong side row.
Bind off.
Weave in ends.

I love chevron patterns and this blanket or throw is a really nice one. The pattern is not hard to do and the color combinations work very well with the big sections broken up by the smaller sections in brown. Although the brushed Dreamy yarn is nice, I'm sure you could substitute almost any worsted weight yarn and it would still look good.
