I was confused when I first looked at this pattern. The pattern calls for size 50 needles but only worsted weight yarn. This blanket is based on the Lion Brand Fast Finish Throw pattern, and that pattern calls for 2 strands of bulky yarn held together, so I'm guessing this blanket would need to be made with 4 strands of worsted weight held together.

It is not clear above why you would use Size 50 needles with worsted weight yarn. The pattern doesn't explain it either, or why you need 4 colors. So I went to the Lion Brand pattern that this throw is based on and found the answer "With one strand each of A, B and C, and 2 strands of D held together" - in other words, 5 strands held together while you work. Thought I'd let others know to clear up the confusion.
