Yay, a blanket with different color sections but no seaming! I like that a lot, my kind of knitting project lol. I don't have the same textured yarn that was used for the blanket in the picture but it would be easy to find something locally that was a similar nubby style.

This throw is so fashionable! I love the textures and colors. I love its earthiness. It would look great draped across the back of a chair or sofa. I think I'd want mine to be quite a bit larger but it looks like it would be easy enough to figure out how do that. Wouldn't it?

For those who cannot find the pattern at Berroco, go to ravelry.com and it's available as "Brenda's Blanket," without the quote marks.

I am with you. I have knitted for years and this is a very compicated pattern for anyone. I would just make up small balls of wool and cast on enough stitcehes to give me the dimensions and knit. you can make exact squares or you can have a throw of many colours and enjoy it. This is not a easy pattern sorry. I like a lot of your patterns but not so much this one

this does not sound easy. I'm a beginner and I look for easy patterns. I don't know how to pick up stitches and cast on in the middle of a project. can anyone please instruct? thanking you in advance

I am not sure why they think this is an easy pattern but if you just want to knit a simple blanket , use several different small balls of colrs and cast on the number of stitches that you need to make the size and knit until desired length

I have knitted for years and why am I having trouble starting the second square? I want to use this beautiful pattern to use up some scraps of yarn. Can you give me any suggestions?
