Bella Knit Baby Blanket Pattern
The Bella Knit Baby Blanket Pattern is just as beautiful as its name implies. A gorgeous stockinette pattern is interrupted by stripes of openwork that almost look like mini cables, without the need for a cable needle. This pattern could be made in a solid color, but it is stunning in a self-striping variegated yarn. Plus, this design uses a lot of repeating, so it will be easy to get on a roll. This will be a very cozy blanket pattern for both Mom and baby to enjoy.
Be sure to make the adorable Bella Baby Jacket to match! What a cute set that would be.

In response to Hippie Chick, when I can't figure out an abbreviation I google it. I really can't think of a time that I haven't been able to figure out what the abbreviation means. I can't wait to try this. I love the way the "cable" looks more like a twist.

I followed the link to the blog to get this pattern. I noticed at the end of the page was a comment section. Two people had posted questions asking for help with some of the terms used in the pattern and they were unanswered. I dont like the lack of feedback.

I knit preemie baby items for charity (Heavenly Angels In Need) to donate to hospitals and this blanket at 18" x 19" is just the right size. I have some light weight yarn odds and ends so I could make this blanket striped using them up. I pinned this to make!
