Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Gauge20sts = 4 inches (10cm). Gauge is not particularly important for this pattern.

That's quite an interesting stitch. I have knitted a long time and I don't know that I have ever seen it before. I wonder what it would look like using a variegated yarn? I am thinking the pattern might get "lost" in the variegations, but I will probably try and see what it looks like.

This is a super pattern for the beginner! It would be a good one for anyone who is just learning to knit. I have had a lot of experience, and I think I will make it. I've never seen anything quite like. I think I'm impressed by its simplicity.

What a pretty pattern. I love geometric shapes for blankets and this one is really easy to make, being simply a series of knits and purls. It's designed as a baby blanket but you could very easily make it bigger by casting on more stitches and extending the pattern. So versatile!
