This is a pretty basket pattern in a lovely spring color! The pattern instructs you to use three strands together as you knit, so I'm sure when you felt that it comes out sturdy enough for the basket. I think this one would look nice in almost any solid color, or you could use variegated or self striping yarn for a cute look.
