Armande Cardigan
This gorgeous, mustard-colored knit cardigan pattern is an ode to earlier days. The retro-chic Armande Cardigan is a great layering option for variable spring weather but is a wonderful piece for year-round wear. We love the sweet button detailing and darling front pockets that give this cardigan its old-fashioned flare. The Armande Cardigan may take a little time, but with patience you can create a lovely knit cardigan to be proud of.

This appears to be a very thorough pattern. I can't wait to get my Christmas projects finished and cast this on. Has anyone tried it with a different type of yarn? I usually like to pick by color, so often don't go with what is given. Anyone have any suggestions please.

This is such a pretty sweater. It is definitely in my queue to be made soon. I really appreciate that you included the schematic on the pattern page. It is so much nicer than having to go to other pages to collect all of the pattern parts. I Googled the yarn you used and noticed it is 100% wool. Unfortunately I am allergic to wool and can only wear acrylic yarns. Is there another brand that you would recommend for your pattern, or will any acrylic worsted do?

I love this sweater and the details from that perfect collar to the string of buttons cascading down the front. This could quite easily be the classic sweater in my wardrobe. Thanks for the clear instructions and excellent photos. I've added it to my "must knit" list

A lovely classic cardi with a hint of shaping and one piece construction. A nice knit in lighter blends for spring or early fall.
