This toddler hat pattern has a lot to offer easy to knit, very attractive result, and it uses worsted weight yarn, so you don't need to buy any special kind of yarn to get the same effect. In fact you could use this hat pattern as a stash buster with whatever you have on hand, and make it two-tone or striped.
