I've tried to find the PDF with three different browsers with no luck...link keeps taking me to blog, and I can't find any mention of this pattern at all there.

Hello! The link has been updated, so when you click the pink "Click here for knitting pattern" button, you will be taken to the designer's Ravelry page where you can download a PDF of the full pattern for free. Hope this helps! -Kathryn, Editor of AllFreeKnitting.com

@deeanza12 : You've knit six stitches in contrasting yarn. When these six are removed, there's a hole that has six stitches on the top edge and six on the bottom edge. Pick up six stitches from EACH SIDE of the hole, for your twelve stitches around. I would suggest putting these on 2 DPNs, then knitting 5 on DPN#1; add another DPN to knit the 6th st from that side and either the first three from the other side or 1 st from tip of the hole (makes the thumb a little bigger, & less like to leave a hole) and the first 3 from the other side; then knit the last 3 from that side and pick up 1 in the tip -- you'll have 5, 5, and 4 stitches on your DPNs.

I could not understand the thumb gusset instructions at all. It made no sense to me. I understand knitting in contrasting yarn 6 stitches, but how do you get 12 sts out of 6? I read these instructions until I was dizzy. So, I gave up. Rest of the pattern is easy and lovely.
