Stormy Day Wristers
"Keeping with my current focus on wristers, here's another one. This garter stitch, knit flat, pattern is easy peasy. basically just knit all the rows to make a rectangle, and then stitch up the sides leaving an opening for the thumb. Both sides look the same, so decide if one looks better for some reason. Great for a stash-buster project because they don't require too much yarn--or make them as long as necessary to use up that last bit. Be sure to leave long tails so you can use them to stitch the wristers together."

This pattern is a very simple and pretty basic one for fingerless gloves. It is very easy to work up and takes very little yarn, so this would be a perfect last minute gift idea and a stash buster at the same time. I have a great pattern for wrist warmers that I use regularly though.
