Believe it or not I was looking for a pattern for this. Someone gifted me some nice white cotton yarn and it would be perfect for this. I have made soap socks in the past and they are really good to have. They keep you from dropping the soap and possible slipping on it. It is easier to hang on to. They make great gifts as well. I have made a friend who makes homemade soap and sells it. I will have to make her a few of this in thanks for the soap she has gifted me. Thank you.

This is such a cute soap bag. Has anyone tried it? I have yet to attempt a lace pattern, would this be a good starter for this? I got some lovely soap sets over the Christmas and I was thinking of making some of these bags, putting the stronger smelling soap in to the bag and hanging them in the bathroom while it's waiting to be used.
