Because of carrying yarn on the back side for the fair island effect, this hat has to be very warm. I had a thought about continuing the yarn in back using the same color throughout the hat to make it warmer everywhere. I mean, not doing the color work, but using two balls of the same color of yarn to make it thicker. Has anyone done anything like that?
