Half Skein Pistachio Hat
This mint colored hat is a great way to get rid of a half-used ball of yarn. The Half Skein Pistachio Hat is a cute, simple knit hat pattern that has a great bumpy texture and an attractive ribbed edge. This hat is a quick knit, and can easily be finished in a day. The Half Skein Pistachio Hat is a basic pattern that every knitter should have in their back pocket. So next time you find yourself with half a ball of yarn, knit up this quick and easy cap.

Here is a nice easy hat with a different texture. Who knew that working through the back loop would create such a nice effect? I never seem to have enough hats so this will help solve that issue. In addition I knit for charity and this is one pattern I can use my stash and make each hat a little different. Thank you for the pattern.

Projects that use up leftover yarn are always great to find, and this is a nice one! The designer gives stitch counts for different weights of yarn, so if you only have heavier or lighter yarn you can still make it. If you're short on one color, you could make the ribbing at the bottom a complimentary or contrasting color.

This may be the most economical hat I've come across, using a half-skein per hat. And the pattern uses a purl through the back loop, which gives it an unusual look. Nice charity knitting project.
