I really like these hats that start the cable as part of the rib. I also like these Purl Bee patterns. They are always well written and fit nicely when they're done.

I love the subtle cable pattern on this hat. It gives the piece some nice visual interest. I also think the color is very sweet and festive. A great pattern all the way around.

The quanitity of yarn needed for this hat is not ref anywhere. ??? The type of yarn and size of needles are not listed in the printable patter either. The needle size and type of yarn is listed prior to the printable pattern, so you have to first print patter and then hand write needle size and weight of yarn on pattern. A very strange way to write up a pattern Cindy 2292

All the info needed for this pattern is in fact on the page, but it may not be in the format that you are used to using-this pattern is on a blog-bloggers have a tendency to tell you the story behind the pattern and the materials used and why they chose them-my best advice is read it all, it will only take a minute or two and help you avoind looking silly with your negative comments on here.

At the bottom of the blog post for Jen's Sweetie Pie Hat, before the comments, there's a print button in the same row as the date. Have you tried that link? Otherwise, go to the page and highlight the text, then right click and you'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy". Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. It's not the best way, but it will usually work.

I am confused on theis pattern. I have not knit in years and am trying this because it said it was easy. Under the part that says "hat" line 1, why does it state for Rounds 1-3: *K8, k2, p2. Is that not a mistake? Shouldn't it read K10, p2? or K8, k2 tog? Please advise.
