Nom Nom Garter Stitch Hat
If you can't bear to throw your yarn scraps away, the Nom Nom Garter Stitch Hat will finally give you something to do with them. This hat knitting pattern uses two yarn colors as its base, but the stripes can be made from any scraps you have lying around the house. Anyone who's not a fan of circular knitting will love this easy knit hat pattern for being knit back-and-forth instead of in the round. All in all, this is the perfect project to get rid of your yarn scraps and get a brightly-colored knit hat in return!

This is a great stash buster pattern! It's a little hard to follow the pattern with all the color changes, so I'm going to just ignore the colors the designer uses and use my own, and maybe change colors more randomly based on how much I have. I think my base color will be maroon, since I have a fair amount of that. Should be fun to make!

The directions are a bit confusing but I have the yarn and I am going to start the hat tonight. In New York during the winter you can never have too many hats and I am going to change the pattern around a bit to a rib pattern.
