Pirouette Hat

Put a spin on the traditional knit hat pattern with the Pirouette Hat. This beautiful salmon-colored hat is knit in a unique lace pattern that has five stitch repeats, but one extra stitch in the round. This extra stitch gives the Pirouette Hat the twirl effect, much like the arms of a tiny ballerina. This pretty pink hat is the perfect finishing touch to a cold weather ensemble, adding just enough color and a hint of texture.

I have tried hats that spiral before and have not had a lot of luck. I get the pattern all messed up for some reason. Has anyone tried this hat? It looks pretty straight forward, but I always seem to be able to mess them up.

I taught myself to knit and don't consider myself very good, I am getting better. These hats are easy and I made 4 of them. They are beautiful no matter the yarn. Don't let the intermediate lable scare you and give it a try.
