This is such a pretty flowery lace pattern hat. I would be tempted to add some ribbing at the bottom, like some Ravelry users did, to keep the edge from curling. It looks great in the red and Im sure it would look good in almost any solid color, but I think self patterning yarn would hid the pretty lace pattern.

I like the swirly pattern look of this hat, it reminds me of roses. It's very feminine looking, and I like that it is stretchy, according to the pattern. It calls for Malabrigo yarn, which is a beautiful yarn to work with and comes in gorgeous colors.
