Step by Step Hat
"This is a super simple pattern that looks much more complicated than it is! We used sport weight yarn for this......it's what we had in our stash. This pattern is a great stash buster......use as many or as few colors as you'd like. Instructions for all yarn weights are included. Experiment and have some fun with it. This pattern was designed for Delaware Head Huggers. Pattern instructions include information for super bulky, chunky, worsted and sport weight yarn as well as how to adjust the size."
Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)

This is an interesting pattern and hat. It is not boring at all and the result is beautiful. The instructions are great and you can make different sizes as well. It is a great stash buster. You can always use hats, for yourself and others so it is not a waste of time or yarn. Thank you.

I like hat patterns like this that are different than the usual. I also like that the designer gives you options for the hat, such as only using two colors. She also gives stitch counts for using other weights of yarn besides light weight, which is great because then you can use whatever yarn you have on hand.
