"This pattern was made to celebrate the messiness of the season. Even in the messiness there can be beauty. The Winter Thaw Hat is a pattern that is worked with two sock yarns put together to give it that beautiful marled look. The two yarns provide a very soft and squishy finish that works up quickly. The pattern is a simple 4 row repeat that introduces the spike stitch. The pattern has a lot of texture and interest."
