From the blogger: "Wool beanie with pom pom made out of imitation fur, a must have in your winter’s closet. This easy knit wool hat will be an ally to keep the cold on a leash in the coldest months. Materials: 2 balls of wool of 100 gr. for 5.5 or 6 mm needles (9" or 10") — keep in mind that we’ll only use half of the second ball; 5.5 mm straight needles (9"); tapestry needle; a pom pom or fuzzy wool. Required knitting stitches and techniques: Cast on, 1×1 ribbing stitch, stockinette stitch, garter stitch, knit cable."

I have got to get some of these faux fur pomp oms that I am seeing on all the beanie hats this year. I have not been able to find any in-store so I guess I need to find an online shop that sells that on the cheap. The faux fur adds a little modern day look to this classic.

I just don't think anything can beat a good cable style hat and I love the faux fur pom on top. Does anyone know of a good place to purchase those? I saw them somewhere at one time but don't seem to be able to find them again.
