this is my 568th saved pattern - and the 2nd headband... great for hiking or snow-shoeing in late winter or early spring when it is too warm for a toque but ears can still feel the sting of the wind -- also wondering about doing it in a very light yarn to keep hair out of face and eyes... stay tuned and I shall let you know if that works

How sweet and simple this is. I know a teenager who would love it. I could see slipping some beads on the yard and adding them at the cables for a special little touch. The tutorials are really handy too for a cable beginner.

This is so pretty. When I saw it I immediately pictured it with springtime flowers stuck in it every few inches. Done in a really beautiful yarn I could also see it as a base for a bride's headpiece in a garden wedding.
