I like recycling fabrics and this doily rug is perfect! I've made other types of rugs from old bed sheets and they wear well, plus you can wash and dry them when needed. The designer notes that you could make this into a circle by repeating the pattern another 6 times, all the way around, so I might try that. Pinned this one!

I am always on the look out for a new an interesting craft project. My eye immediately caught this beautiful half circle 'Doily Rug' pinning the pattern on the spot. Being marked easy and calling for circular knitting needles i was a bit skeptical EASY??. On reading the knitting instructions, I was pleasantly amazed how easy the pattern is. So ladies if you want to impress family and friends with your knitting skills this is the ideal pattern to use. Come let us give it a shot to knit this 'Doily Rug'. This is another item on my craft to do list. Let it also be one of your new projects this year.

I clicked on the 'pattern' bar below the picture. It went there and there was a little red box that gives a pdf version of the pattern that you can print or save.

I would love to knit this rug. I found it on All Free Knitting. Why am I asked to pay for the pattern?
