cannot figure this pattern,attempting it with learned knitters to no avail-starting with row 2. Perhaps there is some mistake in the directions.

very strange. I had difficulty opening also, then I opened once in Swedish, no problem, went back to English and it opened right up! can't wait to start knitting!

this looks like a very pretty scarf to knit, however I cannot get the pattern to open.
