Go Team! Scarf
"Show your team spirit with a one-of-a-kind scarf. Match the colors to your favorite team, then stay cozy while you cheer them on. The scarf shown here I hope is the perfect homemade knit gift for the high school graduate: a scarf in their college's colors! This 1x1 rib pattern knits up to look the same from both sides (perfect for a scarf). This one is about 5 feet long; you can easily adjust it to fit your desired size."
NotesFor best results, yarns need to be the same (or very similar) thickness. I used worsted weight.
Note: carry unused yarn as you go. I struggle making that work so for the long stretches of Color A, I cut the other two and wove them in when I was finished.
To make much longer, repeat the pattern again. To make a little or shorter, make the beginning and ending color A sections slightly longer (or shorter) as needed.
