The Purple Waterfall Scarf is a great addition to any scarf addict's closet. Simple yet elegant, this lacy scarf pattern features a gradating color purple scheme, much like a mystical waterfall. This delicate, open stitched scarf goes great with a solid black shirt or over a dress to keep warm on a breezy summer evening. It makes a good project for beginning knitters looking to take on a more advanced project. This pattern features different shades of purple fingering weight yarn, but any color shades of fingering weight yarn would work as well.

The splicing of the yarn is way too complicated to enjoy the knitting of the scarf-if I do make it, I'll use a russian join on the yarn or use self striping yarn. Otherwise it is a beautiful pattern.
