Instructions
This yarn is so bulky that it does not work well to knot it when joining. Directions are given for sewing the skeins together. Because it is so bulky, it is easy to hide the join in the stitches.
CO 11 sts with Color A.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Rep Rows 1-2 until 12" [30.5 cm] of Color A remains. (It does not matter if it is the end of a row.)
Butt ends of Color A and Color B together and with needle and thread sew ends together.
Continue knitting in pattern with Color B until 12" [30.5 cm] remains. Repeat joining method with Color B and Color C. Continue knitting in pattern with Color C until about 1 yd [1 m] remains. BO all stitches.
Finishing
Weave in remaining tails.

This is great for beginners in aran weight or chunky for those needing presents in a hurry and maybe making use of cake yarns waiting for a knitting pattern. I have 6 gathering dust. Unfortunately not everyone has the change to learn crochet. Now I am hooked on knitting and stash has overtaken the house.

Love that the pattern calls for three different colors, and I think it would look equally dramatic in one. It just makes me want to cuddle up with it!
