The Iced Branson Scarf
"Just a couple evenings of mindless knitting (while watching the Olympic games)! This warm and cozy scarf is great for men and women (or downsize it for kids). I used nearly two skeins of Downton Abbey Branson yarn along with some (leftover) white cotton yarn for the "icing." This is one of those stitch patterns that looks the same from both sides--perfect for a scarf. And even better, it is only one row. That's right, a one-row pattern. Just slip the first stitch of every row and then it's all knits and purls."
NotesI just love this colored-dipped scarf trend. It opens up so many ideas in my brain for yarn pairing and projects (even beyond scarves). As a bonus, it is a great stash buster--using remnant yarn for the tips. And also, if you have some yarn that isn't quite enough for a scarf, just give it some stand-out tips.
