This shawl has a really pretty lace pattern and doesn't look too difficult. The directions are pretty clear, but I can tell that I am going to have to pay very careful attention, particularly in the beginning, to get it right. Stitch markers and a row counter will help. I always keep the instructions right in front of me and check my work often until I get the hang of the pattern. I'm thinking of doing this is a pearly white color that will go with everything, day or night. Thanks for the lovely pattern!

Pretty overall lace pattern that is nice and repetitive so the pattern should be easy to memorize. As with most lace knits, the pattern doesn't really distinguish itself until the item is blocked and the holes are defined. This is a nice sized shawl, just over five feet long but you could add more length by adding additional skeins of yarn.

I made this in a black, and silver colorway and it turned out beautiful. I just started knitting this year and it was my third project. I did add fringe and I have gotten many compliments on the shawl.

This is soooo good to hear! I was thinking about black and silver too! Good to hear that it was a head turner as well. I'm adding it onto my list to work up. I love the way this one seems to drape as well. There are some really good tips on this thread and I appreciate those too!

Did anyone else have trouble with this pattern? I have been knitting a long time, and I love all lace patterns, but this one had me stymied, and although I thought I understood the instructions and followed them correctly, my result looked nothing like this. If anyone has any tips to help me, I'd appreciate it because I would really like to make this shawl. Thank you!
