Hike to Marion Falls Knit Shawl

This nature-inspired knitting pattern is too pretty to miss! The beautiful knit shawl uses a streamlined design that is quite easy to follow. The result is a beautiful shawl that you will want to wear with just about any outfit.

From the blogger: "Intricate-looking lace doesn’t have to be hard. A half pie-shaped shawl is the ideal place for newer lace knitters to dip their toes into the water of lace knitting. All the shaping takes place outside of the patterning in this design, which utilizes just a single type of decrease and simple yarn over increases. Hike To Marion Falls mimics the play of the rocks and the water. The strong lines of just a single type of decrease give landmarks and the yarn over increases mimic the water as it flows from the garter tab beginning to the simple edge."

This shawl is truly lovely, but definitely not an "easy" pattern, it uses a pco, garter tab and is only in charted form, nothing particularly easy about any of it based on that information alone.

This shawl is beautiful. You have to pay attention while knitting it but the end result is worth it. I love the color yarn they used and I will probably look for it when I go to WEBS in the summer. This is going on my list. This is a shawl that will never go out of fashion and will be a nice addition to an outfit. I am not great at reading charts but this will be good practice. I also like that there are tutorials that go along with the instructions. It is always good to learn something new and go over what you know. Thank you.

How cozy!! I would love a little something like this when I go on light walks in the woods

This is such a lovely knit shawl pattern. The color is striking, and I love the design.
