Ocean Waves Shawl
This breezy and light knit shawl is perfect for just about any occasion!
With its intricate design, the Ocean Waves Shawl will quickly become one of your favorite accessories! The easy knit shawl pattern is made using super fine yarn, and the result is a lightweight shawl that can be worn on warm summer days and even in winter. This knit accessory uses just one ball of yarn, too, making this pattern an affordable foray into shawls for newer knitters. The shawl can be made with fringe, too, to add a bit of drama and flair to the final design. You'll love wearing this chic and gorgeous shawl over your favorite dress or even over a more casual outfit.

Notes
The hourglass pattern is created by adding multiple yarn overs on one row and dropping all of those yarn overs on the next row, knitting only the original stitches. Do not count your stitches on any odd-numbered row that is adding yarn overs because it will not give you an accurate number. Always count your stitches on an evennumbered row after yarn overs have been dropped.

True to its name, this Ocean Waves Shawl is designed emulating the waves of the ocean. I just don't like the color too much. I think it should take the color of the ocean, too.

This is NOT one ball of yarn. There is a solid black border, which must have come from a second ball or scrap of yarn.

What you are saying is simply not true, if you had done your due diligence and checked on the yarn yourself, you'd have found that it is a large skein of self striping yarn that has large blocks of color between the color changes, if you had checked, you'd not have made such a fool of yourself on this public forum. This is indeed a single skein project.
